Today is a big day for WORD client, Devi Brown!
The veteran iHeart radio personality turned meditation & crystal healing expert, is blazing trails once again. Fresh off the release of her first wellness book, Crystal Bliss (Simon & Schuster, 2017), Devi is back out here in the new year inspiring people everywhere to go after their dreams. As of today, Nordstrom, will begin carrying three specialty crystal pouches in 40 Nordstrom stores across the US & Canada. The beautifully packaged gemstones, are an offering from Devi’s wellness brand, Karma Bliss. The Dharma Bliss Bag, Love Bliss Bag & Vitality Bliss Bag will also be available online for anyone interested in seeking a higher frequency. Conscious shoppers need apply.
Karma Bliss will be included in Nordstrom’s “Well Beauty” offerings - an in store collection of natural & organic products for shoppers searching for a green approach to their beauty routine. The Bliss Bags will stand out as the only crystals and as a small business alongside some of the department store’s legacy brands.
This partnership is a major milestone for the radio personality turned meditation champion. Devi’s Karma Bliss loose crystal collection is the first of its kind to be carried by the major retailer. This is an indescribable & exciting feat for the ex-broadcaster, whose mission includes sharing self-discovery tools with people of color & underserved neighborhoods in her native Los Angeles and beyond.
“It’s humbling to be able to share my self-discovery journey through Karma Bliss and now, having the opportunity to partner with a company like Nordstrom is reaffirming of my practice. When you stay centered and your vision is clear, amazing things can happen. I hope our crystal collection brings this same vitality and spice for life to anyone who is seeking more," say Devi.
As the health and wellness industry booms, we’re seeing a trickle down of seekers: people from all walks of life are actively working towards their spiritual health and major retailers like Nordstrom are ready, willing and able to provide self discovery tools at the tip of our fingers. According to Euromonitor International, the global market for health and wellness offerings reached $686 billion in 2016 and it is expected to grow at a 3.5% CAGR, to $815 billion, by 2021. The numbers are staggering but the societal benefits cannot be beat as more spaces for well-intentioned healers begin to open up.
Devi hopes the accessibility of her crystal collections will encourage people to seek more out of their daily lives, the same way her practice freed her from a life where stress was worn as a badge of honor.
